Are social & network tools delivering value?

There is just so much going on at the moment in the social and online networking space that it's a bit daunting to say the least.

There are anecdotal stories about businesses that have experienced success to some degree or another using FaceBook, Twitter, Linkedin, blogs, articles etc but it's really hard to get a clear picture of what's working, what's not and where the business ROI/value lies.

I know I'm finding it takes a lot of energy, commitment and hard work to keep active in all of these spaces. I'm comfortable at this stage with the results that I'm getting from my activities, but then my objectives may be quite different to yours.

I'd like to invite followers to comment from this post on their perception of value. It would be great to share some positives as well as negatives...go on, don't be shy!

    Thanks you so much for your kind and positive feedback. Blogging is very time consuming and some days is can be a real chore, but when you get such neat feedback it makes the effort more than worthwhile.
